Jean W. Griffiths (nee Francis), 94, of Bellmawr, NJ entered into the presence of her Savior Jesus on the 16th of October 2026 at the Wiley Retirement Mission Home in Marlton, NJ. Jean was born on February 6, 1932 in the Willow Grove, PA area. She began working for the Philadelphia Electric Company immediately after graduating from high school and worked as a bookkeeper for the electric company for forty years. She met her husband, Harold on a blind date in the fall of 1974. They were immediately attracted to one another and were married the following spring at Open Door Bible Church in Willow Grove, PA. They had 8 and ½ wonderful years of marriage, before Harold’s passing in 1983. Jean moved to the Wiley Homes in 2003.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Griffiths and her brother, Robert Francis. Jean is survived by her three step-children and their spouses, Hal (Linda) Griffiths, Beth (Ed) Mogck, and Brian (Tammy) Griffiths; by her sister-in-law Shirley Griffiths; by her nine grandchildren, Joel (Allison) Griffiths, Lisa (Chad) Schuyler, Jamie (Jenn) Cullum, Lori (Alan) Elliott, Joshua (Katie) Mogck, Andrew (Cheyenne) Mogck, Jesse (Katy) Griffiths, Justin Griffiths, and Joseph Griffiths. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

Jean has been a longtime member of Grace Bible Church in Barrington, NJ. She was active in various church ministries, including opening her home to the teen ministry, singing in the choir, and playing the piano. She traveled to the Holy Land twice with her church group and could not stop talking about that wonderful experience. She loved to bowl and participated in several bowling leagues for many years. Jean loved to cook and enjoyed hosting large gatherings of friends and family. She also loved to follow the Phillies.

Jean enjoyed living at Wiley and often spoke of how well she was taken care of there. A special “thank you” goes out to the staff at Wiley Mission. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26 from 9:00-10:00 am followed by a service at the Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 250 S. White Horse Pike in Audubon, NJ. A graveside service will take place at the Memorial Shrine Cemetery, 1831 W. 8th St., Wyoming, PA at 2:30 that same afternoon.
