(Nee-Hartke) On January 1, 2007, of Cherry Hill, NJ, formerly of Collingswood, NJ. Age 80 years.

Beloved wife of the late John L. McIlhenny and the late Arthur E. Powell. Dear mother of John (Eileen) Powell, Dr. Julie Powell (Bill Kocher), Arkie Powell and former wife, Laurie, David (Gloria) Powell, Catherine Powell Miles (Greg), Mark (Ellen) Powell, Jeanne (Anthony) Pisciotta, Joan (the late George) Missimer, Peter (Jeanie) Powell, Michael (Joanie) Powell, Thomas Powell and former wife, Donna and Anne (Brian) Fisch. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 sisters: Mary Lou Carper, Joan Maddox and the late Bets Sutton.

Mrs. McIlhenny-Powell was born Aug. 16, 1926 in Chicago, IL. She attended Rosemont College and Glassboro State College, where she received her degree in Education. She was a homemaker for many years and started her teaching career at Camden County Vocational School until her retirement in 1986. Jeanne enjoyed her time at the shore and volunteer work at West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Friday, Jan. 5th 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, Jan. 6th 9:30-10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Haddon & Lees Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Sat., Jan. 6th 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 4th Ave. & Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gibbsboro, NJ.
