Jewell Kathryn Wilson, 85, of Runnemede, NJ, passed away on August 26, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 19, 1941, to Allen and Jewell (née La Savage) Goodwin, she was a strong, bright, and beautiful woman.

A graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School, Jewell married John “Jack” Wilson in 1963. Together, they made their home in Runnemede, NJ, where they raised their three children: Jack (Sharon), Julie (Ashraf), and David (Danielle). She was also the proud grandmother of Jessica, Christopher, and Ella, who brought her tremendous joy.

Jewell loved dancing and served as President of the Tristate Country Dancers for more than 20 years. She also enjoyed winning many bowling championships, worked at Bellmawr Furniture Store for 18 years, and served as a Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop 128 in Runnemede.

A natural organizer and the life of every party, she had a gift for connecting with anyone she met and always loved a good joke. Family, friends, and neighbors alike cherished her warmth, humor, and presence in their lives.

Jewell is survived by her husband, Jack; her brother, Allen Goodwin; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Patricia, Barbara, and Diane.

Funeral and inurnment will be held privately. A celebration of life event will be hosted in the future.
