On October 24, 2021, former lifelong resident of Collingswood, NJ.  Age 72 years.

Daughter of the late Conrad and Peg Moscicki.  Beloved wife of David E. Shaffer.  Dear mother of Juli St. George (Bittner), Amy Gresko (Bittner), David L. Shaffer and Kevin M. Shaffer.  Loving grandmother of 11.  She is also lovingly survived by her brother, Jeffrey C. Moscicki, her sister, Elizabeth "Betsy" Moscicki and two nephews, J.C. and Jarrad.

Joan was a very outgoing and active person until she succumbed after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.  She was a 1967 graduate of Collingswood High School and a graduate of Pierce Business School.  Joan worked for various hospitals and concluded her career as Administrative Assistant to the CEO at Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.  She was also an avid camper with Free Wheelers, National Camping Travelers, Eastern Square Wheelers and was a member of the Collingswood Women's Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, October 29, 9 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM.  Interment Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
