Peacefully on March 11, 2016, of Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, VA. Age 69 years.

Beloved husband of Lorette J. Collins. He is also survived by many cousins and friends. He will especially be missed by Bob and Peg Woolford and Carol and Bud Burrows, and his loving in-laws: Bob, Mary, Lenore, Pat, Lois, Lorraine, Chris and Linda. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Dorothy Collins and brother-in-law, Billy.

John grew up in Pennsauken, NJ and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired to Smith Mountain Lake after a career of 32 years as a Customer Service Manager with 3M Company. John enjoyed fishing and boating on Smith Mountain Lake and socializing with his dear friends there. He will always be remembered as the life of the party.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 10:30 AM to 12 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
