Passed away peacefully on April 20, 2015 in his home at the Fountains, Atco, NJ. Formerly of Haddonfield and Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 88 years.
Jack is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elfrieda "Ellen" (nee Rowan); six children: Jack Jr. (Debbie), Ellen (Mike) Mulgrew, Mary (Tony) Vecchione, Nancy (Don Licorish) Mansfield, Bill and Karl (Sue); 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Jack was a 1944 graduate of Northeast Philadelphia High School, then joined the Navy the day after graduation. He proudly served his country from 1944-1946 as a signalman with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS New Mexico in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. Jack went on to earn a degree in business (B.S.) from LaSalle University in 1949. He later worked with NCR for 30 years. Jack was also a longtime member of Tavistock Country Club and former president. He enjoyed golf and spending time with his family.
At Jack's request, services and interment will be private at the convenience of his family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice for their support in his final days.
