John J. Janda, Jr. "Duke" passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 26, 2024.  A longtime resident of South Jersey and formerly of Westmont and Atlantic City, NJ, Duke was 84 years old.

Beloved husband of the late Beverly Kay (nee Fieldman) and the late Barbara (nee Craig).  Loving father of Michael (Joan) Fox, Jeffrey Fox, Lori (Michael) Kern, Janine (Jeff) Armstrong, Melissa (Michael) Canino, the late Christopher (Mary Ann) Janda and the late Matthew (Janet) Janda.  He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, May 2, 10:30 to 11:45 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 PM.  Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Duke's memory to the Mid-Shore Community Foundation ( www.mscf.org ) and select the Tim Kern Fund to direct the donations.
