John F. Schrider, "JohnnyWawa," 73, was granted his angel wings on September 5, 2020.

John's life would seem too short to many but those who were impacted by him understand that the quality of his existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which he lived.  His sparkling blue eyes, inviting nature, great sense of humor and his inability to ever tell a short story brought so much joy to his family and friends.

John loved fishing, visiting family in Florida and North Dakota, listening to Patsy Cline, telling a joke but most importantly he made everyone feel welcomed.

John is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty (nee Teschko); two daughters, Kristina (Dayton) Loveday and Kimberly (Gilberto) Pacheco; four grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Kyle and Kaitlyn and two sisters, Georgeann Schrider and Harriett Torres.

A Celebration of Life will take place Sunday, September, 20, 2020, 2 PM at the family home, 220 W. Franklin Ave., Collingswood, NJ.
