On April 6, 2010, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 98 years.
Beloved husband of the late Miriam R. Egbert (Nee-Wall). Dear father of Jon E. (Ginny) Egbert and David H. Egbert. Grandfather of Carl, Jon and the late Carrie.
Mr. Egbert was a 1930 graduate of Haddon Heights High School. He was employed during World War II at the New York Shipyard, and then was a longtime employee of Philadelphia Gas Works, retiring in 1974. He was also an avid reader and enjoyed handyman tasks.
Funeral service and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Audubon, NJ.
