Obituary
Went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2010. Of Barnsboro, NJ, formerly of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 72 years.
Beloved husband of 46 years to Judith (Nee-Carroll). Loving father of Scott (Helen) Cassario, Jill (Ken) Short and Donald (Sherri) Cassario. Devoted "Poppy" of six grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Patrick (Bea) Cassario.
Mr. Cassario was a 1956 graduate of Haddon Heights High School and a graduate of Rutgers University, Camden. He was a longtime elder of New Covenant Community Church, Audubon, NJ and retired after 32 years of service for Huntsman Corporation, West Deptford, NJ. He loved his family, traveling, reading and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Thursday, March 18th, 9 to 10:45 AM at the New Covenant Community Church, 255 Edgewood Ave., Audubon, NJ 08106. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pitman, NJ.
The family suggests contributions be made in his name to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245(www.pancan.org) and/or New Covenant Community Church at the above address.
