Joseph "Joe" Hochstuhl, Jr. passed away on January 6, 2025 in his home at Seaton Place, Voorhees, NJ.  A former resident of the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, PA, Collingswood and Somers Point, NJ, Joe was 92 years old.

Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Dorothy "Dottie" Hochstuhl (nee Mahoney) and the late Helen Hochstuhl (nee Compton).  Loving father of Joseph F. Hochstuhl, III, William C. Hochstuhl, Barbara (Michael) Swain, Carolyn (Christopher) Jolley and Kelli (Andy) Braun.  Devoted Pop-Pop to Amber (Jimmy), Alicia (Mark), Jake (Laura), Jeff, Matthew (Jordan), Jessica (Dave), Jaime (Juan), Andrea, Sara, Carrie, Julie and Joanna and great grandfather of Will, Adriana, Juliana, Adelina, Everett and Kinsley.

Joe was a proud Korean Conflict U.S. Army veteran.  He enjoyed an over 20 year career as a production manager for Jack Frost Sugar Refinery in Philadelphia, PA before becoming a "jack of all trades" which included being a contractor/handyman, bus driver and a security guard to name a few.  Joe, along with Dottie were former active members of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Collingswood where he also was a member of the barbershop quartet there.  He was also an avid fisherman and Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.  Joe could often be found at Charlie's or The Crab Trap in Somers Point, NJ and in later years loved going out to lunch with his daughters.

Joe's life celebration service will take place at a later date to be announced by his family.  Interment private.
