Joseph J. Medio, age 92, of Westmont, NJ passed away peacefully at Arden Courts in Cherry Hill, NJ on April 22, 2021.  He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Dennis) Merlino and Joan (John) Oliver and a son, Daniel (Kim) Medio.  He is also survived by his grandchildren: Joseph Merlino, Rita Oliver, Danielle and Zachary Medio, Matthew and Amber Cluff-Lees and his sister, Anna McCarron of Voorhees, NJ.  He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Jean, brothers, Mario and John and a sister, Rose Giaimo.

Joe was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 18, 1928.  He moved to Camden, NJ as a teenager, graduating from Camden Catholic High School where he met his future wife.  He received his degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and worked in the field for many years, retiring from Stone & Webster.  Joe was a resident of Westmont for over 60 years and was active in many groups, including Holy Saviour Church, the Jaycees and the Haddon Twp. Library Board where he served as past president.  Some of his many interests included music, genealogy and computers.

The family would like to thank the staff at Arden Courts for the excellent care that Joe received.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, April 28th, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ.  Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 250, Philadelphia, PA 19106 and/or St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
