Joe passed away peacefully at home in Audubon, NJ on May 22, 2020. Age 94 years.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Annie M. Pauro (nee Lange). Dear father of Kenton (Maureen) Pauro, Pamela (Harry) Martin and the late Joseph F. Pauro, Jr. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Loving twin brother of the late Phillip (the late Marie) Pauro. Joe is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Joe was a very proud World War II U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1942 to 1946. He earned many medals during his service including: WWII Victory Medal, American Theatre Medal, Asiatic-Pacific and European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Medals and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Joe spent many years working as a lithographer in the printing business. After retirement, he was a dedicated employee of several local funeral homes, assisting on funerals and helping funeral directors and the families they were serving.
In 2016, Joe was honored by the Borough of Audubon and Camden County for his dedicated service in the Navy during World War II. In fact, July 20 is now recognized as Joseph F. Due to current restrictions, Joe's funeral service and interment will be private at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
