Obituary
(Nee-Russell) On December 2, 2007, of Mantua, NJ, formerly of Audubon, NJ. Age 71 years.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Bowen, Sr. and dear companion of the late Carmen Arrigo. Dear mother of Joseph A. Bowen, Jane P. Bowen and the late Jeffrey J. Bowen. Loving grandmother of Melissa, Laura, Kelsey and Margaret. Also survived by three sisters: Emma Glaser, Jeanne Colburn and Bea Denelsbeck.
Mrs. Bowen was an avid bowler, having won the National Deaf Women's Bowling Association World Championship in the late 1970's. She was also a charter member of the NDWBA Hall of Fame.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Thursday 10 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Friends may call Wednesday Evening 7 to 9 PM.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her memory to the Marie H. Katzenbach School for the Deaf, c/o the superintendent's office, 320 Sullivan Way, PO Box 535, Trenton, NJ 08625.
