Obituary
On March 7, 2007, of Haddon Township, NJ. Age 87 years.
Beloved husband of Helena F. Band (Nee-Senk). Dear father of Leonard J. (Rosemary) Band of Atco, NJ, George I. (Betty) Band of Haddon Township, NJ, Steven S. (Mary) Band of Bel Air, MD and Thomas M. (Amy) Band of Glen Mills, PA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mr. Band was a 60 year resident of Haddon Township and member of the Westmont United Methodist Church. A WWII U.S. Army veteran, he retired in 1985 after 40 years with RCA, Camden, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday, March 13, 11:00 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Haddon & Lees Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Friends may call Tues. 9:30-11:00 AM.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 129 S. 9th St., Suite 202, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
