Obituary
On December10, 2017, of Voorhees, NJ. Age77 years.
Beloved husband of Lana Meredith Champion. Dear father of Kellie Champion, Kendall (Robert) Hageman and the late Meredith Lyn Champion. Loving grandfather of Molly Meredith Bruggis, Liam Robert Hageman, Conor Edward Hageman and Graham Ryan Hageman. He is also survived by his brother, Morris Champion and many nieces and nephews.
Leonard was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a 37 year employee of Otis Elevator, Philadelphia, PA and then worked in the Department of Community Affairs, State of NJ. A lifetime member of Hutton Hill Rifle & Revolver Club, Leonard was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially of turkey and deer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering and celebration of Leonard's life at the Champion residence, 21 Penn Rd., Voorhees, NJ on January 20, 2018, 3 to 5 PM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 1865 Harrison Ave., Camden, NJ 08105 and/or the Wounded Warrior Project ( www.woundedwarriorproject.org ).
