On January 13, 2018, of Collingswood, NJ.  Age 97 years.

Beloved husband of 63 years to the late Mildred W. Smith.  He is survived by a niece, Trudy Thompson, great nieces and a great nephew.

Mr. Smith was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European Theater.  He was a photographer for a company in Philadelphia associated with NASA and in 1969 developed the first photos of a man walking on the moon.  He was also a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Collingswood.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday 10 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  A time of devotion and reflection will follow at 10:30 AM.  Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
