Obituary
(nee Abbott) On October 9, 2015, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 88 years. Beloved wife of 62 years to Leslie T. Githens. Dear mother of Kenneth S. (Carolyn M.) Githens, Barbara Ann (the late Michael) Cusick and Carolyn J. Githens. Loving grandmother of Rachel (Michael) Cavanaugh and great grandmother of Samuel, Edward and Jacqueline Lorraine. Sister of the late Harry Abbott, Robert Abbott and Evelyn Vasbinder.
Born and raised in Newfield, NJ, Mrs. Githens was a former crossing guard and cafeteria worker at Glenview Elementary School in Haddon Heights.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Thursday 10 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM. Inurnment Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Fellowship Community Church, 1520 Hainesport Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
