On August 6, 2011, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 89 years. Husband of the late Regina Vickery. Dear father of Randall (Betty Jean) Vickery of Medford, NJ and Lynne Vickery-Clark of Pennsauken, NJ. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandsons.

Mr. Vickery was a 1941 graduate of Collingswood High School. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre Operation as a tail gunner with the 75th bomb squadron, earning his wings in 1943. His service continued with the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Later, he was an accountant for the Frankford Arsenal, Philadelphia, PA until their closing. Mr. Vickery was also a parishoner of St. John RC Church of Collingswood and volunteered with numerous community service organizations.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday, August 11th, 9 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11 AM from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish at St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Entombment Chapel by the Lake Mausoleum, Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
