(nee Lucia Rita Marie Visco) On June 13, 2017, resident of Collngswood, NJ for over 67 years.

Beloved wife of the late Harry L. Schmidt.  Dear mother of William J. Schmidt (Mary), Debra Rundstrom; step mother of the late Larry Schmidt (Rita), Robert Schmidt (Bonnie) and Sudie Burbage, who was like a daughter.  Loving grandmother of Eric Rundstrom (Lindsay), Kevin Rundstrom, Patricia Giordano (Michael), the late James Nuzzi III, Sherry Schmidt, Brian Schmidt (Trish), Vicky Tracy (the late Tom), Scott Schmidt (Lynn) and Cindy Sampson (Rick).  Great grandmother of 14 and also survived by many, many nieces and nephews.

Lucy was a nurse for over 65 years with some of her employers being West Jersey Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Methodist Home In Collingswood and many private duty patients.  She was a volunteer/manager of Our Lady of Lourdes Thrift Shop in Collingswood, with over 26,000 volunteer hours.  She also was Chaplain for Tatem-Shields Ladies Auxiliary Post #17 American Legion, member of St. John's Parish and the Collingswood Democrat Club.  Her last residence was at the Collingswood Arms, where she had many friends and considered them as her extended family.  Lucia was the most loving, caring, compassionate and thoughtful person we've ever known.  She loved everyone unconditionally.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday 9 to 10 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM.  Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lucy's memory to Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center Auxiliary, 1600 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103.
