(nee Cox) On October 24, 2016, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 99 years.
Dear mother of Barbara F. Hughes (Andrea Benzacar) of New York City, NY and Lydia H. (the late Jeffrey) Brown of Haddonfield, NJ. She is also survived by a devoted niece, Janice Stewart of Haddon Twp., NJ.
Mrs. Ashcroft was the oldest member of the First Baptist Church of Collingswood. She was also a longtime employee of Strawbridge & Clothier in the Echelon Mall, Voorhees, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside service on Friday 11 AM at Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Treatment Action Group, 90 Broad St., Suite 2503, New York, NY 10004 and/or PA Academy of the Fine Arts Scholarship Fund, 118-128 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19102.
