Obituary
(Nee-Scull) On January 23, 2011, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 87 years.
Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Willard "Jerry" Madden. Dear mother of Rick (Terry) Madden of Frisco, TX and Martha Ann (Paul) Zaun of Delanco, NJ. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Brooks (Jenny) and Chalee Madden and Michael, David and Daniel Zaun and a great granddaughter, Kali. Sister of the late Elizabeth Brust. Devoted cousin and aunt to many.
Mrs. Madden was a 1941 graduate of Upper Darby High School and Pierce Business College, Philadelphia, PA. She was a WWII Red Cross volunteer and a legal secretary for Penn Mutual Life Ins. Co. and the American Water Co. Her earlier activities included: Cub Scout Den mother, 4-H leader, Little League Ladies Auxiliary and PTA Board. Later, she enjoyed being a member of the Haddon Heights bowling league and Socialites travel club. Mrs. Madden was also a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Haddon Heights since 1950.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Prayer Service on Thursday, January 27th, 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Inurnment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. Friends may visit with the family Thursday 10 to 11 AM.
The family requests contributions be made to Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Center, 175 Madison Ave., 2 South, Mt. Holly, NJ 08060.
