Margaret M. "Peggy" Waldron of Collingswood, NJ passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024 at the age of 87.  She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Alice Waldron, loving sister of John (Megan) Waldron and the late William (Carole) Waldron, and dear Aunt of John (Rebecca) Waldron, Denise (David) Grunwald, Margaret (David) Iuvara, Jennifer (Myles) Grady, Michael (Jennifer) Waldron, William (Elizabeth) Waldron, David (Holly) Waldron, Stephen (Stacy) Waldron, Shawn (Angela) Waldron,  Elizabeth (Daniel) Capobianco and Colleen (Andrew) Sammaciccia , and 24 great-nieces and nephews.  She was very fond of her cousin, Rev. Bernard Gannon.

Peggy was born in Camden, NJ on Dec 13, 1936.  She attended St. John's School in Collingswood and went on to graduate from Camden Catholic High School in 1954.  She embarked on a 50-year career in the business office of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital where she retired in 2001.  Peggy was a devout Catholic and she regularly attended mass  at Sacred Heart in Camden where she especially enjoyed mass with Father Michael Doyle and a donut and conversation in the rectory afterwards.

Auntie Peg was lovingly devoted to her family which was obvious by all the framed Christmas cards and school pictures in her home. She loved all beautiful things like china, pink flowers, lace, jewelry and most importantly, the angels.  She will always be remembered for being a sweet, kind and giving person to everyone she met and a was a wonderful listener.  She had many friends and was a familiar face to many residents of Collingwood and store owners on Haddon Avenue, where she would be seen walking and talking to everyone she met, all while always enjoying her favorite WAWA coffee.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10-11AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Avenue, Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM.  Private entombment at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
