Marie Gizella Dolan (nee Odor) passed away peacefully after a short illness on April 2, 2016; age 86 years. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late John W. Dolan, Sr. She is survived by her children: John (Eileen) of Merchantville, NJ, Michael (Phyllis) of CA, Susan (Michael) Vaughan of Haddonfield, Robert (Terri) of Mt. Ephraim and James (Kelly) of FL; grandchildren: Allyson Vaughan, Adrian Dolan, Paul and Kristen Mahoney and great grandchildren: Julia, Norah, Devin and Walter. She is also survived by a sister, Rose (Bob) Johnston of Medford and her lifelong friend, Norma Lingo of CO.

Marie was an accomplished seamstress who worked for the Nanette and later made extraordinary Halloween costumes. She lived in Audubon for the last 17 years, caring for her husband until his death. She was a strong, independent woman with a quirky sense of humor who enjoyed the small things in life; gardening, crocheting and toys that walked or made noise. She took great pride and joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a nonconformist who lived life on her own terms. Recently she cared for and loved her birds, Charlie and Lady Bird. We will miss her love, strength and wit.

Marie will be laid to rest privately with her late husband at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
