Mary was born on September 29, 1952, as one of 10 children to Col. Henry L. and Natalie A. Rauch (both predeceased) in Shreveport, LA at Barksdale AFB.  Mary graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1970, where she was a student-athlete playing softball and basketball.  She then went on to study Marketing and received an associate’s degree from Camden County College in Blackwood, NJ.  

Mary held various jobs throughout her life including managing different fast-food restaurants and being a Travel Agent before joining the military in the U.S. Marine Corp. She served four years as a Military Police, where she received the Good Conduct Medal. Once honorably discharged, she worked for the US Postal Service from 1985 to 2013 as a mail room sorter and window clerk.  Once retired from the Post Office she worked part-time at Home Depot to keep herself busy.

In her spare time, she loved to do crafts, which included oil painting and making blankets for all she cared for. She was a big Philadelphia Sports fan.  She especially loved her Phillies and Eagles.

Mary is survived by her brothers; Jim and his wife Jane, Terry and Linda (predeceased), Steve and his wife Kathy, Thomas (predeceased) , John (predeceased) and his wife Marine, and her sisters; Natalie Jane Caffarelli and her husband John, Pat Fell and Michael (predeceased) and Cathy Snider and Gary (predeceased) and sister Susann Evans (predeceased), along with many nieces and nephews. Mary will be forever in our hearts, and her memory will be a blessing.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, 10:30 AM to 11 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM.  Entombment at Camden County Veterans Cemetery, Harleigh Cemetery Association, 1640 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Tunnel to Towers at: www.t2t.org.
