February 26, 1923 – January 28, 2024
(nee Dixon) Of Haddon Heights, NJ, went home to her beloved Lord and Savior on January 28, 2024, at the tender age of 100.
Mayme is predeceased by the love of her life, James Robert Paul, Sr. Dear mother of Thomas (Nancy) and William (Jeane) and the late James R. Paul, Jr. She is lovingly survived by 10 grandchildren: Ryan, Jennifer, William, Jaime, Jonathan, David, Alexandra, Timothy, Jessica and Cheyenne; 17 great grandchildren: Mason, Evan, Drew, Luke, Cullen, Shay, Rainy, River, James "Rocky," Rowdy, Bella, Sarah, Melody, Cato, Azalea, Eliza, Avery and one more on the way. Devoted sister of Grace Newell, Doris Evans, Richard Dixon, the late James Dixon, the late Ruth Appel, the late Esther Cordes, the late Bertrue Sharp and the late Susan Mogck. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Mayme loved the Lord and was a member of Grace Bible Church in Barrington, NJ. "Sis" loved the color purple, chocolate and the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. She was a school bus driver for deaf students in Trenton, NJ, for many years and was also an avid bowler with the ladies Glenview Bowling League.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, February 1, 2024, 9 AM to 10 AM at the Grace Bible Church, 887 Clements Bridge Rd., Barrington, NJ 08007. Funeral Service will follow at 10 AM. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover Twp., NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Grace Bible Church at the above address.
