On August 2, 2022, of Collingswood, NJ; formerly of Honesdale, PA and Point Pleasant, NJ.  Age 91 years.

Beloved husband of the late May M. Rutherford (nee Sommerock).  Dear father of Thomas Rutherford, Karen (Steven) Lieb, Laura (Richard) Rutherford-Renner and Lisa Correale.  Loving grandfather of Erin Hightower, Sara Renner, Li-Fen Correale and Dayna Correale.  Great grandfather of Abby Hightower and Nate Hightower.

Mr. Rutherford was a retired, 42 year Air Force veteran and the recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.  He was a founding member of the Wayne County Habitat for Humanity and an automotive enthusiast who enjoyed rebuilding and reconditioning engines.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, September 16, 2022, 9 to 10 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  A remembrance service will follow at 10 AM.  Inurnment Friday 1:30 PM with full military honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
