On November 11, 2021, of Haddon Twp., NJ.  Age 75 years.

Beloved husband of the late Antonina "Anne" Cipolla.  Dear father of Giovanni (Jenn), Michael A. (Jen) and Nina-Anne (Mike) Rippo.  Loving Pop-Pop of Michael, Joseph, Tyler, Jordan, John Anthony, Isabella, Marcello and Luciano.  He is also lovingly survived by his sister, Anna Cipolla and his lady friend, Lynda Kessler.

Mr. C. was a man of many trades, but most notable as the dedicated French and Spanish teacher at Gloucester City High School for 38 years, followed by 11 years at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School.  He enjoyed teaching, not just the language but also the culture, by preparing escargot or crepe for his classes, and at times, even hosting French Club dinner parties in his home. The family will always remember the late nights helping him grade stacks of papers with red pens on the dining room table. Mike was also a perpetual prankster, and would often mess up the punchline of a joke because he was laughing so hard.

Mike and his beloved wife, Anne, also operated the local favorite weekend stop, Cipolli Cannoli in Collingswood, for over 20 years. Those loyal to the business came for the cannoli, but stayed for the show. The sound of Italian music set the stage that kept their customers in awe of their love and banter. He instilled that love of Italian music in their grandchildren and pondered what Patrizio had that he didn't. When they became of age, their grandchildren worked the shop with them on Fridays and Saturdays to learn the ropes (and the secret recipe!)

Mike and Anne are reunited now - let the banter continue!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday evening 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.  Interment private.
