Michael Sean Johnson ("Mike"), age 62, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Susan Leusner Johnson for 31 years and loving father to Alexander Johnson (Shelby). He is survived by his brothers Walter, James (Deborah), and John Johnson and his sister Stacey Troupe (David), his brothers-in-law Thomas Leusner and Steven Leusner and his sisters-in-law Karen Leusner and Julie Leusner, and by many adored nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. He was the devoted son of the late Elizabeth ("Betty") and Walter Johnson and son-in-law of Jean Leusner and the late Armand Leusner.

Mike was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and was a longtime resident of Pennsauken and Oaklyn, New Jersey. He was a proud graduate of Pennsauken High School, Class of 1980 and Rutgers University, Class of 1984. He was a dedicated member of Boy Scout Troop 119 of Merchantville, New Jersey, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 1979.

Mike was an active member of the community serving for many years as a coach for his son's Oaklyn Little League teams and as treasurer for the organization. He also served on the board of the Oaklyn VFW Men's Auxiliary. He was a dedicated employee of Holtec International for thirty years. He was a lifelong member of Martin Luther Chapel in Pennsauken, New Jersey. He was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed attending games with his son through the years.

Mike was an avid golfer and member of Riverton Country Club. He enjoyed sharing his love of the game with his friends and his son. He was proud of his two career hole-in-ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Mike's life on Friday, March 15, 2024, 9:30 AM to 11 AM at Martin Luther Chapel, 4100 Terrace Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey 08109. Memorial Service will follow, beginning at 11 AM.
