Obituary

On April 11, 2010, of Doylestown, PA, formerly of Yardley, PA.

Beloved wife of 53 years to James B. Hankins. Dear mother of three precious children: Lynne (Rich) Hankins-Fielder of Cudjoe Key, FL, James B. (Faye) Hankins, Jr. of Mt. Lebanon, PA and Pamela A. Hankins of Lebanon, PA. Loving grandmother of Myriah Leigh Hankins, James B. Hankins, III and Griffin Scott Hankins. She is also survived by a special niece and two special nephews.

Born and raised in Oaklyn, NJ and the Bluebird section of Haddon Twp., NJ, Mrs. Hankins was a graduate of Collingswood High School and Cedar Crest College, Allentown, PA.

She was a 41 year resident of Bucks County. She actively participated in her children's activities as a Cub Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader and Girl Scout Camp Coordinator. In 1970, she became a member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, Deacon, Elder and volunteered at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. She was a secondary level teacher in the Pensbury School District for 16 years and later became a realtor in Yardley, PA for another 16 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial service on Saturday, April 17th, 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Interment private.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to A Women's Place, P.O. Box 299, Doylestown, PA 18901 and/or Habitat for Humanity of Bucks Co., 340 N. Broad St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
