(nee Fritz) On June 29, 2015, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur R. Bartsch and the late S. Sgt. Albert T. Thompson (killed in action at the Battle of the Bulge during World War II). Dear mother of twin daughters, Karin B. (John H., M.D.) Read and Carolyn M. Bartsch and son, Albert T. (Mary Kay) Thompson. Loving grandmother of John VII, Ashley and Robert and great grandmother of Allison and Henry.

Mrs. Bartsch was instrumental in forming the National Gold Star Wives of America, Inc., where she served as Past President and in many other capacities. She fought hard to establish benefits for widows and children of deceased military. She was also an active member of the Collingswood Women's Club, Evening Division.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday Evening 7 to 9 PM and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.
