(nee Sota), age 52, of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away suddenly on October 4, 2012. Penelope was born on April 4, 1960. She grew up in Collingswood, NJ and had lived in the Haddonfield area and Waitsfield, VT.

Penelope is survived by her beloved father, George Sota, her sister, Constance Sota, a step-daughter, Arien Brown and grandsons, Joseph and Dominic. She is also survived by her uncle, David (Catharina) Copeland; cousins: Christopher, Karin, Michael, Nicholas and Lisen McDowel and many friends, especially Paul Henderson and his family. She is predeceased by her late husband, Todd H. Brown, her mother Gail Sota and her brother, George Sota.

Penelope lived life to its fullest and expressed her artistic gifts in everything she did. Her zest for life, independence and sense of humor endeared her to many. Penelope was happiest cooking for others, gardening and caring for animals. She was an accomplished stain glass artist. Penelope enjoyed making a loving and beautiful home, whether in New Jersey or in Vermont with her beloved late husband, Todd.

A Celebration of Penelope's life will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, November 4th at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood.
