On October 9, 2013, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Betty Jane and the late Bertha Dobbs. Dear father of Susan (Michael) Cohen, James (Jill) Dobbs, Mark (Deborah) Naglee, Paul (Laurie) Naglee and Gail Valente. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Rachel and Jessie and many other Naglee grandchildren.

Ray was a lifelong resident of Collingswood, a 1943 graduate of Collingswood High School and a WWII U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He retired in 1986 as Chief of the Collingswood Fire Department after 40 years of service. He also served the Collingswood community in many other capacities including: Chairman of the Collingswood Centennial Committee, former acting Borough Administrator and was a longtime member of the Collingswood Rotary Club and Paul Harris Fellow recipient. In 1996, Ray was inducted into the Collingswood Athletic Hall of Fame as a member of the undefeated 1942 football team.

Relatives, friends and members of the Collingswood Fire Department are invited to attend his Graveside Service Monday 11 AM in the Garden of Honor Section of Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 915 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103.
