Regina "Petie" McGrath (nee Brown), wife of the late Vincent J. McGrath of Barrington, NJ died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Petie was loved by her children; Vince Jr. (Anne), the late Mike (Sue), Greg (Eileen), Pat (Liz), Mary (Mark), and Beth (the late George). Her grandchildren; Vince III (Mera), Jesse, Neal (Bridget), Megan, Kelli, Michael, Greg Jr. (Julie), Grace (Mike), Ginny (Phil), Caitlin, Ashley, and Jeff. Also, her many precious, adoring great-grandchildren and fur gran-babies. Loving sister of Bet, Marie, Judy, the late Ed and sisters-in-law; Sr. Dora, Peg, Eileen and the late Mary, Jack, and Fran. Good friend of Franny and Mur.
Petie was born in Florence and lived in Barrington for the past 69 years. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years and ended her career working at the Bancroft School. Parishioner at St. Francis de Sales Church and then St. Joachim Parish. She loved vacationing in New Hampshire and down the shore for over 60 years; boating, fishing, and crabbing with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday evening 6 to 8 PM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ and Friday 9:45 to 10:45 AM at ST. JOACHIM PARISH, ANNUNCIATION BVM CHURCH, 601 W. Browning Rd., Bellmawr, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
