(nee Canuso) On December 13, 2022, longtime resident of Haddon Heights, NJ.  Age 92 years.

Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Schneider.  Dear mother of Nan (Joseph) Famular and Paul (Freida) Schneider.  Loving grandmother of Kurt, Thomas, Robert, Steven, Joann, Stephanie, Dan, Michael and Andrew.  She is also lovingly survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Rita graduated from West Philadelphia High School.  She and her husband, Paul, settled in Haddon Heights in 1956, where they raised their family.  Rita and Paul started their family business, R. Canuso Company in 1967 and it is still operating today.  Rita enjoyed cooking, entertaining, going to the casinos and spending time with her family.  She volunteered for Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with their women's auxiliary and the Lourdes Thrift Shop.  Rita also was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Home Auxiliary and was a longtime active parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church in Haddon Heights.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, December 19, 10 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Ave. & King's Hwy., Haddon Heights, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM.  Interment private.
