Obituary

Robert W. Doman, age 72, of Beach Haven West, formerly of Audubon, NJ.  After a courageous battle, Bob passed away on October 12th at Virtua Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Nancy, (nee Heyn).  Loving father of Robin & Barry Fadio of Audubon, Stacey Jones of Gloucester Twp. and Jaclyn & Jay Bozarth of Collingswood.  Cherished grandfather of Chelsea, Sarina, Peyton, Blaze, Averi, Cassidy, Chase and the late Zachary.  Dearest brother of William & Goldie Doman, Alex & Diana Doman, Barbara & Richard McNulty, Patricia & the late Walter Bonner, the late Joseph Doman and brother-in-law of Donna & Gary Wilson.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends that were family.
Bob was a 1965 graduate of Collingswood High School and an Army Veteran. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, he held season tickets to the Eagles with his brothers for over 25 years.  He was a founding member of the prestigious Maple Avenue Basketball Association (MABA) and a true music lover.  He was blessed to have made amazing lifelong friends along the way from his early years on Sloan Ave to his married years on Maple Ave and then Mark Drive.
His proudest accomplishment was the beautiful life & family he made with his high school sweetheart, Nancy Lynn, who he would readily tell you was "out of his league".  The love and pride he had for his girls and grandchildren was unmistakable.  The life lessons he taught them will be treasured.  "Popz" easily became a push-over and gave in to all his grandkids' requests from pickey me up to repeatedly pulling up crab traps.  His greatest pleasure was their slice of heaven at the Jersey shore where he enjoyed relaxing, boating, fishing, relaxing, family, friends, relaxing, floating in the goon and Sunday evening tippys on the beach.
Bob always preached the importance of Perspective to his family. While he struggled with the unfairness of his diagnosis, in the end his perspective was that he had lived a good life. For all who were a part of that good life we thank you. In his memory live each day with perspective.
Interment and services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bob's memory to the
