Obituary
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 3, 2017, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 81 years.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Frances (nee McKeown). Devoted father of Stephen, Robert Jr. (Theresa), Kate, Julie (Pete) and Timothy (Andrea). Loving grandfather of Christopher, Patrick, Daniel, Trent, Lily and Grace. Dear brother of Alfred Hughes.
Bob was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a life-long Teamster, an avid golfer and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be remembered most of all for his sense of humor and devotion to his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday evening 7 to 9 PM and Thursday 10 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. A time of sharing and remembrance will follow at 11 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to The Elizabeth Foundation for Preschool Deaf Children, a charity close to his heart. Donations may be directed to https://justgiving.com/fundraising/Fundraising-The-Elizabeth-Foundation .
