On March 5, 2008, at home in Cherry Hill, NJ, surrounded by family and close friends. Age 73 years.

Known as Bob or Ozzie by those who loved him, Mr. Jones is survived by his children: Cyndi (Kevin) Griffiths of Haddon Heights, Robert J. (Patricia)Jr. of Bellmawr, Suzanne (Wayne) DiCicco of Gilbertsville, PA and Kimberly Jones of Cherry Hill. Mr. Jones will be dearly missed by his longtime companion, Eleanor Connell of Haddon Twp. and his seven grandchildren: Ryan, Shannon, Erin, Jackie, Abbie, Meghan and Olivia. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Nancy. Brother of Tom (Dorothy), Peggy (the late Dan)Ferrari, Nancy Jones, Mary (the late Jim)Barlick, Judy (Jack) Hannigan, the late Doris (the late Bud) McCarthy and the late Frank (Rita). Many nieces and nephews also survive him.

Mr. Jones retired from a successful career in real estate at the age of 64, spending his retirement building homes, woodworking, traveling the world and treasuring time spent with family. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a proud member of the Sons of Italy.

Bob moved his family to Cherry Hill from Philadelphia in the early 1960s, where he held many positions from plumber, to lamp maker and operator of a janitorial service before finally realizing his niche as a real estate broker.

Never one to relax or lounge about, Bob filled every hour by always working, building, learning and living. He will always be remembered as the most dear father and grandfather who lived each day to the fullest and unselfishly gave his love, time and wisdom.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 9 to 11 AM at the Church of Queen of Heaven, 700 W. Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
