Ruth passed away on November 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness.  A longtime resident of Montgomery County, PA, she was 86 years old.

Loving mother of Thomas Black, Darlene Black, Paul (the late Rorie Hirschmann) Black and Matthew (Feleena Wilson) Black.  Devoted grandmother of Andrea Certain, Rocky Black, Kevin Schwab, Kyle Black and Kasey Black and great grandmother to Joshua Certain, Jr., Trinity "Grey" Certain and Tyler Black.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Ruth was predeceased by her siblings and her longtime companion, Mort Marshall.

Ruth enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and crabbing and eating crabs with her family.

Funeral service and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
