(née Smith)  Peacefully at home on August 29, 2024, longtime resident of Haddon Township, NJ.  She was 96 years old.

Beloved wife of the late James V. Short.  Dear mother of James (Martha) Short and Patricia Short.  Loving grandmother of Christopher (Jamie) Short and Natalie (Eric) Krewson.  She is also lovingly survived by four great grandchildren: Charlotte, James, Clara, and John Moses.

Nancy was happiest spending time with her beloved family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, September 6, 2024, 10 AM to 11AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Township, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM.  Interment private.
