Sarah Elizabeth Diffenderfer, daughter of the late Thomas and Alma Fry, on March 16, 2014, of Willow Valley, Lancaster, PA; formerly of Havertown, PA.  Age 91 years.  Beloved wife of 37 years to the late James W. Diffenderfer, Jr.  Dear mother of Sally (Vern) Mittelstadt, Margaret Diffenderfer, Thomas (Jean), Robert (Judy) and Barbara (Wayne) Lowe.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A graduate of Bucknell University, Sarah was involved in various ministries at Grace Chapel, Havertown, PA.  She served as president of the Haverford High School Band Mothers Association and on the Board of the Presbyterian Home, Bala Cynwyd as well as volunteering at the Haverford Township Library.  Sarah was also a member of NSDAR.

Funeral and interment at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ will be private at the convenience of the family.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, March 22 at 10 AM in the Johnson Auditorium of Willow Valley Manor North, 600 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA 17602.
