Suddenly on April 28, 2009, of Haddonfield, NJ. Age 61 years.
Sister Susan was received into the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany February 16, 1978 and made her final profession February 15, 1986. She was a professed religious for 31 years.
Sister Susan graduated from Temple University School of Nursing in 1966. She was in active nursing until her death, having worked from Olean, NY to Florida. Susan was currently working for Samaritan Hospice, Marlton, NJ. She had just completed a master program from Neumann College, Aston, PA in Pastoral Counseling. On April 21st, she defended her thesis and received outstanding reviews. Her graduation was to be in May 2009.
She is the beloved daughter of June O'Connell and the late Michael Osmola.
Relatives, friends, clergy and religious are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, April 30, 4 to 8 PM at St. Mary of the Angels Convent, 134 W. Kings Highway, Haddonfield, NJ. Funeral Liturgy Friday, May 1, 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter Celestine, 402 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ. Interment St. Bonaventure Cemetery, St. Bonaventure, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053. Arangements by the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Collingswood, NJ.
