Thelma passed away at home in Collingswood, NJ on April 16, 2017.  Age 95 years.  Thelma was the daughter of the late  Edwin J. and Ethel K. Burgess.  Mother of the late Thomas Simon, a U.S. Navy veteran.  Sister of the late Edwin J. Burgess, Jr.

Thelma's passion was interior design.  An expert in her field, she owned and operated a very successful business specializing in custom draperies and bedspreads.  She was a very talented and creative person.  Thelma was a progressive and always stylish woman, following her own path.  A loyal friend and companion, Thelma was a giving and thoughtful person, always remembering her family and friends.

Her Memorial service and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
