Obituary

Thomas Gash Christensen passed away peacefully on November 27, 2014 at the age of 95. Recently predeceased by Carolyn, his beloved wife of 72 years. Dear father of Joy (Craig) Evans of Westmont, NJ and Thomas Jr. (Lora Lou) of Arlington, MA. Loving grandfather of Neil Evans, Claire Evans, Wendy Berkeley and David Christensen; several great grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Walter and Dolores Earley.

Thomas was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Collingswood High School in 1936. He served as a Quartermaster in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a regional sales manager for RCA first in Camden, NJ and then in New Orleans, LA and Dallas, TX. He returned to NJ in 1990 to be closer to family and the Jersey shore. He was a member of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church. Tom was an avid golfer, a lifelong stamp collector and a devoted ShopRite shopper.

Funeral service and interment will be private. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Collingswood Manor Fellowship Fund, 460 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
