Obituary
On September 16, 2009, of Oaklyn, NJ. Age 87 years.
Beloved husband of Maria Rooney (Nee-Scriboni). Dear father of Thomas H. Jr. (Wendy) of Oaklyn, NJ and Andrew W. of Oaklyn, NJ. Loving grandfather of Matthew T. and Michael P. Rooney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rooney was a decorated World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of VFW Post# 4463, Oaklyn, NJ and a retired supervisor of the U.S. Postal Service, Philadelphia, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday, September 23rd, 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Aloysius, 37 W. Haddon Ave., Oaklyn, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John of God School, 1145 Delsea Dr., Westville Grove, NJ 08093.
