On December 21, 2009, of Westmont, NJ, formerly of Cherry Hill and Sewell, NJ. Age 81 years.

Beloved husband of Katherine Evans. Dear father of W. Russell (Tara) Evans, Jr., Rosalind Evans, Peggy (Bill) Stewart, Beverly Kulikowski, Donna (Joe) Kornbleuth, Carol (Harry) McMichael, Sue Schloeder, Lori Chamberlain and Lisa (Nick) Bocchicchio. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, two sisters, Helen Ellison and Ruth Hemlin. Predeceased by brothers Reese and Roy, sister, Edna Whitlock and his first wife, Margaret Evans.

Mr. Evans was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a 1952 graduate of Auburn University. He was the project manager for the construction of an addition to Graduate Hospital and the Galleria, Philadelphia, PA, the Camden Aquarium and Deptford Library. He concluded his career as the building inspector for Cherry Hill Township.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, December 28th, 10 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Memorial service will follow at 11 AM. Interment private.
