On June 18, 2023, of Voorhees, NJ.  Age 80 years.

Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Anne M. Simpson (nee Sweeten).  Dear father of Lara (Mike) Murphy and Elina (Luis) Matthews.  Loving grandfather of Ryland, BJ, Logan, Joey and Emma.

Bill was a teacher for 10 years at the Audubon Park School before being employed by the Camden County Board of Social Services for 25 years until his retirement.  He was an active member of the Audubon United Methodist Church, which included being a member of the church choir.  Bill enjoyed spending time at their beach house on Long Beach Island and traveling with friends.  He also took pleasure in decorating his house for every season/holiday, especially for Christmas.  Above all else, Bill loved spending time with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, June 23, 9 AM to 11:30 AM at the Audubon United Methodist Church, Wyoming and Graisbury Aves. Audubon, NJ 08106.  Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 AM.  Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
