On February 26, 2008, of Atco, NJ, formerly of Haddon Heights and Barrington, NJ. Age 95 years.

Beloved husband of 63 years to the late Beatrice Conover and father of the late Thomas C. Conover. Dear father of Carol M. (Robert) Fuller of Haddonfield, NJ and Father-in-Law to Janet (Peter) Shoemaker of Gloucester Twp., NJ. Also survived by five grandchildren: Gwen Isner, Graham Fuller, Katie, Valerie and Jay Shoemaker; two great granddaughters, Madeline and Demery; a sister, Florence Michelfelder and a brother, Herbert Conover.

Mr. Conover was a 1931 graduate of Collingswood High School, where he was one of the great all-around athletes, and later a 1992 inductee into the Collingswood Hall of Fame. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and former member of the Haddonfield Lodge #130 F & AM, Excelsior Consistory Scottish Rite, Crescent Temple Shrine and former proprietor of the Atlantic Service Station, Oaklyn, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday 11:00AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Haddon and Lees Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Friends may call Friday 10:00-11:00AM.
