On May 19, 2011, of Audubon, NJ. Age 71 years.

Beloved husband of Grace McAteer (nee Grenfell). Dear father of Grace Ann (Rich) Krause, Jim (Lauren) McAteer, Renada McGeorge and William McAteer, both of Kentucky. Loving grandfather of Alexis, Bobby, Brian, Braxton and Chloe. Also survived by his brother, Howard (Maggie) McAteer, a niece, Jackie (Lou) Garbarino, a nephew, Daniel (Betsy) McAteer, great nieces, Alicia and Amanda, great nephews, John (Rebecca) and Daniel and a great great nephew, Zane.

Mr. McAteer was a Vietnam U.S. Army veteran, with 21 1/2 years of service. He was also a member of the Carpenter's Union, Philadelphia, PA and longtime employee of Hillman Bus Co., Berlin, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday Evening, 6 to 8 PM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Funeral Service will follow at 8 PM. Interment will be at a later date at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. The family requests contributions be made to www.woundedwarriorproject.
