Billy passed away on June 9, 2017 after a lengthy battle with addiction.  Of Jacksonville, FL; formerly of Collingswood, NJ.  Age 41 years.

Beloved son of Anne E. and the late William H. Townsend.  Loving brother of Karen (Ky) Maria and Katherine (Charles) Schmidt IV.  Dear uncle of Sloane, Gwen, Charlotte and Charles V.  He is also survived by his grandmother, Eileen M. Townsend, the love of his life, Elizabeth Dailey and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Billy was a 1994 graduate of Collingswood High School.  He was a gifted athlete, a talented artist and had a passion for extreme sports.  Everyone who knew Billy loved him, and his infectious smile and laughter will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday evening 6 to 8:30 PM and Friday 9 to 10 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow Friday 10:30 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Interment private.
